The house stands on a plateau overlooking a half acre lake. Views extend down through the valley to Combe Martin and the sea in the distance.

It is 1½ miles from Combe Martin, 10 miles from Ilfracombe and Woolacombe and 12 miles from the large market town of Barnstaple.
